DESCRIPTION:
On two floors: four queen & king size beds, two bathrooms, two tv sets(one HD and blueray with connaisseur selection of movies), two fireplaces, one big play/dining room with a big wood table to accommodate 10/12 people, garage etc. Lots of windows, very bright place with a lot of light; patios, fireplaces outside, grill, small private forest bordering the property.
5 minute walk to grocery stores. 15 minute walk to the village center with pharmacy,grocery, videoclub, fine bakery, great selection of restaurants.
In Summer, lakes around, 40 km cycling track, all summer sports. Trout fishing.
In Autumn, fantastic view of famous festival of maple tree colours.
In Winter slopes everywhere for everybody.
20 minutes drive to Mont Tremblant, St Sauveur. The closest ski slope at 5 minute drive - Belle neige. Cinema theatre in St Adele (movies in English version) 10 minute drive.

The main house in the Laurentians also has an additional building where my husband is working at his next book(called cabanon and not suitable for cold weather but fine for summer)

My husband, a retired diplomat, is currently serving as a citizenship judge, contract to finish next year; he also published his second book, a book on Canadian diplomatic history; myself an ESL teacher of German and Romanian origin born in Europe. We have grown children who do not live with us, and no pets. We do not smoke. House is full of collectioners items that we have acquired all around the world. Hundreds of books.
