DESCRIPTION: It is a very spacious flat in the centre of Certaldo, (about 120 square mts 1300 square feets), sunny and finely furnished, right in the heart of the green Tuscany. It has three bedrooms for 6 sleeping place: two double bedrooms with king-size bed and the other with two single beds. There is a large entrance, a nice relaxing dining-living room, a bathroom and large bright kitchen with two big windows, and a nice balcony facing the old medieval village that is the old part of my town (1300 A.D.). The house is equipped with color TV, washing machine, microwave and independent heating for the winter. It is located not more than 5 minutes away walking from the railway station, right on the Florence-Pisa-Siena line, so that you can visit Tuscany most important cities without using a car. You can also find a big supermarket, which is very close to the house. Internet available with computer. Wireless technology.

Certaldo is a nice old town. On the top of a hill there is the old medieval village, and at the foot of it there is the new part of the town. You can find Tennis courts, swimming pools and horse riding tracks. The two parts, the old and the newest are linked together by a nice cable-car.Certaldo is just 10 kms far from San Gimignano, 35 kms to Siena, 40 kms to Florence, and 70 kms to Pisa. On the way to Siena there is another wonderful medieval village called Monteriggioni, not further than 25 kms from Certaldo. On the other side the Chianti hills (where the world famous Chianti wine is produced) overlook the green dale of Certaldo. It is a good choice if you don’t want to spend your holiday living in a city, but right in the countryside of our region and close to everything interesting you can visit in Tuscany.The area offers many restaurants. The most of them have nice terraces where dinners outdoor are pleasant during summer. RENTAL AVAILABILITY: Available all year long. Minimum three nights stay. Linen, electricity, hot water and final cleaning are included in the price.
