DESCRIPTION: Within easy reach of Florence (15km) and all the attractions of Tuscany, our fully furnished stone cottage (a converted barn) is in a beautiful, peaceful, country setting. The main door of this portion of the barn opens into the living room with a terracotta floor and a stone fireplace . It contains a dining area with a wood country dresser, table and chairs and a sitting area with a sofa bed and armchairs, television and coffee table. A small, well-lit, modern kitchen leads off from the living room with its own door leading to the outside and a small private garden for the use of our guests. A complete bathroom with shower and washing machine also leads off from the living room. A flight of terracotta and wrought iron stairs lead up to the open-plan sleeping area. Two big windows give a view on the garden outside and the surrounding hills. It contains a walk-in, built-in wardrobe, a big, double bed , 2 bedside tables and lamps, a dressing table and mirror, a single bed, a wicker armchair and a writing desk and chair. We have a plant nursery on the property and are surrounded by garden, plants and woodland. We like our guests to feel at home on their visit to Tuscany and are always available to give any information and help that is required. METROPOLITAN AREA: Florence, Italy. We are in an ideal position to enjoy the countryside and the natural beauties of Tuscany. There is an unlimited choice of walks and visits to areas of interest such as the Chianti, Muggello or Fiesole area. We are ideally placed to see the most important towns of Tuscany, Siena,San Gimignano,Pisa,Lucca etc.with easy access to the motorway. There are excellent local bus and train connectionsif you want to see Florence without the car. RENTAL AVAILABILITY: Anytime.
