This is the front of our house, a typical restored San Francisco Victorian on a nice quiet street.
This is our farmhouse type kitchen, full of light, very cozy and functional. We love to cook, so the kitchen has everything you need to make wonderful gourmet meals.

The two Steinways have half of the living room to themselves. We have lots of house concerts here.
The living room has a sliding glass door out onto a balcony overlooking the garden. It faces East, making the balcony a perfect place for morning coffee and croissants (from the fabulous bakery a block away).

This is the master bedroom. The mattress is an extremely good one, queen size. We installed a clawfoot tub right next to the bed, so you can have a hot tub and crawl straight into bed, the ultimate luxury. The adjoining room is a lounge area with desk and TV. It has the best views in the house of the East Bay.
This is the other upstairs bedroom. It has a queen bed, huge windows, a peaked ceiling, and fantastic afternoon light.
This is the downstairs office (opposite the kitchen). It has a queen size futon couch for guests.
This is the downstairs bathroom, recently remodeled with new beautifully functioning plumbing.
This is our garden in winter. It should be lovely in July, with the fruit ripening on the trees. It's very warm and protected, a beautiful spot for lunch at the picnic table.

This is the hill from which the neighborhood gets its name,Bernal. It is a block away, is wonderfully wild, and has a view of the entire downtown and both bridges from the top (Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay Bridge).
