DESCRIPTION: My one-bedroom, ninth-floor apartment is in the Towers Condominium at Cathedral and New Mexico Avenues in NW Washington, in DC's finest residential neighborhood. It has a swimming pool, gym, & small store in the building. There's an excellent restaurant two blocks away, other restaurants, stores and shops (and the National Cathedral)nearby, and it's a short drive to Georgetown, Dupont Circle, Metro and downtown. The apartment is ideal for one or two. It has a/c, a stereo system, many CDs & books, a modern kitchen and some nice art. The building is quiet and safe. I'm a writer with a flexible schedule. I'd probably come by myself and be joined part of the time by a woman friend. Car exchange possible. This is a fine base to explore DC's museums, music, theaters, & monuments. It's a great city!
