The apartment is on two levels joined by the short, narrow staircase of the 13th century turret. On the lower level (wooden floors) there are a sitting room, a dining room, a bathroom, a smaller bedroom (full-size bed), and a small newly fitted kitchen. On the second level (carpeted) there are another bathroom, a large bedroom with a queen-size bed, an extra bed/sofa and a small sunken terrace, a small study where a camp bed can be fitted in case of need. The apartment sleeps 4-5. Some of the furniture is 18th and early 19th century and needs care. The antique china can be removed on request but the books stay and there are lots of them. There is an air-conditioning unit upstairs; a couple of electric fans and the judicious use of shutters keep the rooms cool downstairs, in hot weather.
