Completed in 1929, the S&W Building, in which the loft is located, is one of the most recognizable art deco masterpieces in the southeastern United States. The loft was completely refurbished in 2012, with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, double sinks and a large tiled shower equipped with two shower heads.

As a lover of culture, adventure and beautiful places, I have made my home in the mountains of western North Carolina for years. I place my loft on this site, knowing that someone wants to discover Asheville, North Carolina.

METROPOLITAN AREA: Asheville, North Carolina

A short drive from downtown Asheville, is the historic Biltmore district, home of the Biltmore Estate, built in 1895 by George Vanderbilt. Withing minutes is the famous Grove Park Inn, also built at the turn of the century. Day trips can be made to the Smoky Mountains National Park, or enjoy the long range views from the spectacular Blue Ridge Parkway. Outdoor activities include hiking, whitewater sports and mountain biking.

PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Europe, particularly the Mediterranean coast. I am most interested in Spain, Spanish being the closest thing I have to a second language.
