The main house, Casa Grande, has two bedroom suites, both opening onto a beautiful private stone patio, 2 1/2 baths, chef's kitchen, video library and numerous places for exquisite lounging. Two large covered terraces overlook fields of fragrant lavender. Behind the Casa Grande is the beautiful Casita with its chef's kitchen, dining area and fireplace.
Steps away is the Owners Retreat, a replica of a 17th century Troje, or grainery, with custom furniture, 25-foot brick Canyon de Boveda, or arched, ceilings, stone pillers, and a huge master bath. A galley kitchen is at one end of the room and gas barbeque outside the kitchen door. The 1,000 square foot tile roofed terrace is perfect for outdoor dining, lounging or reading. WiFi and satelite TV are provided in the Casa Grande and Troje.
Many animals are corralled at the farm including horses, burros, chickens, ducks, turkeys and goats.
We have a large vegetable garden that you can pick from as well as gather fresh eggs for breakfast.
We have a 24-hour watchman, or Velador, who lives on the property. The property is secured by electric gates, dry stack stone walls and enclosed by the historic El Camino Real.

Cynthia and myself, Dar, have lived in Mexico for many years and were both attracted to Pozos because it was quiet, quaint, and off the beaten path. It is not for everyone, but it you like to hike and climb, be still and listen to the wind, cook and read and explore, well, you might have found the place. A car is needed.

METROPOLITAN AREA: Near San Miguel de Allende, Leon-Guanajuato Airport, Queretaro Airport

The pueblo of Pozos, just one mile away, was recently named a Pueblo Magico by the Mexican government, a designation awarded to authentic, restored Mexican towns.
The pueblo itself is situated amid the ruins of a once prosperous mining town turned artist colony. You will find tasty and unique restaurants, bed and breakfasts and galleries all within one mile. Nearby is booming San Miguel de Allende, about 40 minutes away. Queretaro is a city of 1.5 million and is also about 40 minutes away. Food and groceries can be bought locally or in San Luis de La Paz, with about 70,000 inhabitants all within 6 or 7 miles away.....also has a fabuloous market!!!!!!!
