It is a two story unit where you come in on the upper or main floor and then a short flight of steps down to where you have a third bedroom and full bath with a very large family room and sliding doors to a large patio and green space. It is very quiet and the neighbors are fabulous. The region is virtually crime free and very clean. We are a mature couple who have lived all over the US. We have made our home here now for the last six years and love the region. Our home is comfortable and has virtually anything you could want for a house exchange. He is a university professor and she is soon to be a retired retail management executive. METROPOLITAN AREA: St. Louis Metropolitian Area St. Charles, Missouri is a beautiful historic town with quiet streets and a beautiful riverfront city park right on the Missouri River. There are lots of things to do in St. Charles and still minutes from the whole St. Louis area with world class museums, attractions, major sports venues, and the gateway to the western portion of the entire United States. We have typical midwestern weather with warm summers, beautiful fall and spring and mild winters. We are mintues from the two great rivers of the US, the Mississippi and the Missouri rivers. The people are friendly and the condo is in a small group with no real street traffic other than the residents. PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: France, Europe, New Zealand, Australia and will consider other interesting destinations throughout the globe PERIOD OF AVAILABILITY: Summer of 2013 starting in late May, through early August.
