Our apartment is in a historically protected building and we live on the fourth floor, looking onto a small, quiet street and the beautiful courtyard of a "hotel particulier" dating from the 17th century. We do not have an elevator in the building.

We have a third bedroom which will not be available as we will be using it to store our belongs. We are not a television family, but do have cable access for phone and computers. If necessary, we can arrange to have a television provided.

I am a professional and my daughter will be entering university next year. We are originally from San Francisco, but have lived in Paris for over ten years now.

METROPOLITAN AREA:

We are located in the heart of the historic Marais district of Paris and are within walking distance of most major museums and sights. The quartier is filled with boutiques, cafes, museums, open air markets, Opera Bastille and movie theaters. The closest metros are Metro St. Paul and Hotel de Ville.

PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Old Town Alexandria in Virginia, New York, San Francisco, Berkeley, Carmel or Pacific Grove

PERIOD OF AVAILABILITY: Long term exchange of 10 months to one year beginning in approximately September 2012.
