DESCRIPTION: This is a two story, 5000 sq. ft. house located two blocks from the beach at La Jolla Shores. There are 4 bedrooms (one king bed, 3 queen beds)and 5 bathrooms located in the main part of the house. Downstairs there is a large living room, dining room, kitchen, washer/dryer facilities and powder room. There is a separate guest suite (with its own street entrance) that has a king bed, a loft with two twin beds, plus its own bathroom, kitchen, washer/dryer and living room. There is a large porch outside of the main living room that overlooks the front yard and is perfect for outdoor dining. The front yard also has a large jacuzzi (seats 10) and a gas barbeque. Upstairs there are three bedrooms (each with its own bath), another den/family room, plus a master bedroom and master bath. The master bedroom has its own sitting area and office, plus an upstairs porch with an ocean view that is ideal for early morning coffee or late afternoon cocktails. The house has cable TV and WiFi. There is a large flat screen TV in the main living room. There are also flat screens in the upstairs den and master bedroom, and two flat screens in the guest suite. There is heating and air conditioning in the main house and the guest suite. The home comes with two bicycles, two surfboards, beach chairs and other beach equipment. There is also a basketball hoop in the driveway. We are a family of four who enjoys to travel. METROPOLITAN AREA: San Diego We are located two blocks from La Jolla Shores beach. It is a family-friendly beach and is ideal for surfing, kayaking, snorkeling and scuba diving. We are a few blocks from the village of La Jolla Shores, which has several wonderful restaurants, a grocery store, kayak/surf rental shops and other retail establishments. PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Europe, especially Italy, Spain, Germany and France. We also enjoy the East Coast of the U.S. PERIOD OF AVAILABILITY: July 24-31, 2011; December 18-25, 2011.
