DESCRIPTION: Enjoy casual living in a small, Northern California historic town at the marina. Within an hour you can be in either San Francisco or Napa Valley. Our home is located in downtown Benicia, a block from many local restaurants and stores. The size is about 1700 square feet and has 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, an office, a sofabed in the living room, and a small deck. It can sleep 4-5 people easily. A car for local driving may also be available.
We are a couple with one daughter in college. Working as a professor and musician, we often have summers and all major holidays available for exchanges. METROPOLITAN AREA: San Francisco Bay Area The San Francisco Bay Area city of Benicia is unlike any other, with a beautiful waterfront, vibrant arts community, top notch shopping and dining, and rich history. A community swimming pool is a few blocks from our townhome. Within an hour you can be in San Francisco, 30 minutes to the heart of the Napa Valley, and 2.5 hours to Tahoe. Benica gives you the best of all worlds - near a world-class city and other Northern California attractions, yet far enough away to provide a haven of beauty and tranquility. You may even hear the bark of the seals as they swim in the Carquinez straits from the deck or your bedroom window at night. PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Open to many locations, especially areas by warm water and the ocean, but since we have family in Italy, we are particularly interested in areas of Italy and other Western European countries.
