We are located on 10 acres with lots of privacy, 12 minutes from the grocery store, liquor store, restaurants and other amenities and 20 minutes from world class skiing, The Canyons, Deer Valley and Park City Mtn. Resort. This is a is a two bedroom house, but sleeps 6 in the winter and 8 in the summer. Master is a king bed with private bath with a large tiled shower and outside shower in the summer time. The guest suite has a queen bed and a new queen pull out sofa in the sitting room. There is an outside covered balcony with a queen murphy bed for the summer time. In addition, there is an office room with an IMAC and high speed wireless internet. The property has an extensive woodworking shop and pottery studio and a two car garage. In addition, we have a barn with eleven chickens (for fresh eggs) and a few rabbits. For comfort of travel access in all seasons, we recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle or all wheel drive.

We are Peter & Pam Behn, a retired real-estate broker and a retired property manager. We bike, hike, ski, snow shoe, design and build furniture, pottery, artworks, tend our small farm which includes an extensive veggie garden in the summer. We like our privacy, but also enjoy getting together with our friends for a dinner or barbecue. When we go away, we like to snorkel, scuba, explore and visit exciting or different areas, but also to have time to relax and read a book.

METROPOLITAN AREA: Salt Lake City

The area is renowned for world class skiing, great restaurants and tons of other recreational activities in the winter and in the summer for mtn biking, hiking, camping, fishing, golf and tennis. In addition to our own ski areas, Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude ski areas are only 50 minutes away. The Park City area has over 350 mile of mountain biking and hiking trails. Almost all of the trails interconnect. We have our own private 1/3 mile trail which connects directly to "The Flying Dog Trail", one of the best sections of this vast network. By the way, these trails are great in the winter for snow shoeing too.

PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Any sort of tropical destination, northern California, Oregon, Washington, Italy, Spain, the Florida Keys, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Australia, Tasmania, Brazil.

PERIOD OF AVAILABILITY: Almost any time, though we would only be willing to go away a couple of time a year. Exchanges would not have to be simultaneous.
