DESCRIPTION: Great Barn Apartment overlooking two ponds and creek. Have coffee on the deck looking over the Madison Valley located between the Madison Range wilderness and the pastoral Gravelly Range. Watch for deer and pronghorn antelope, look up for redtail hawk, osprey, eagles and falcons. Look close for otter and muskrat. Across the creek marmots inhabit the limestone cliff edge. What to do? Yellowstone Park, hike the mountains, flyfish the Madison with or without a guide, horseback, drive beautiful mountain roads, swans att Red Rock National Wildlife Refuge, Great wildlife viewing, Kayaking, the list goes on. Ennis is a great little town with restuarants, shops, a just built hospital, and art galleries. A nine hole golf course is near town. Bozeman is a progressive university town with museums, great shopping, microbrewery, and excellent restaurants. We have a 120 year old hewn log home located on a level bench overlooking Wigwam Creek. A studio apartment built above the barn contains a queen bed with one bath. The apartment does not have a kitchen but does have a small refrigerator and microwave. We're a Louisiana couple who wanted a place in the mountains. We found Ennis and then found a great piece of property and finally found a great old log cabin to renovate. That was 15 years ago.
