Blue Poles Beach House is only three houses from Tideways beach which is a beautiful halfmoon bay on port philip bay with views in the distance back to the city of Melbourne.

Located 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne (with traffic) Blue Poles is only 1.5km from the township of Sorrento and only three houses to the beach.

The house was built in 1960 and renovated in 2008. It has three bedrooms each with a Queensized bed and the third room has a king single.

We have an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, set in a private garden setting with outdoor speakers.

There are two outdoor entertaining areas, a BBQ and a large deck, which is perfect for entertaining a larger group seating up to 12. The front area is ideal for that evening gin and tonic and seats 6.

The beach house has a large plasma tv and a large sofa. An open fireplace with reverse cycle airconditioning and heating.

The kitchen is very well appointed with settings of ten and all the necessary culinary requirements.

The Beach house is filled with beautiful art (hence the name Blue Poles) and the linen is Laura Ashley.

We love to travel. I speak some Italian and we are learning french. We don't mind where we travel to.

Sorrento is one of Melbourne's premier holiday beach location. It would be considered in the top three locations in Victoria next to Portsea and Lorne. The local village is beautiful and was largely developed from limestone. In fact Sorrento was where Captin Cook first landed and settled in Victoria. Where the hous is located was the original colony vegetable garden.

The village has over 120 shops and restaurants with some major retail chains present in the mainstreet. The cafe society in Sorrento is one of the best in Melbourne.
