DESCRIPTION: Nicely furnished 4th floor apt(with lift) available for exchange. We have new appliances, 2 flat screen TVs, desktop computer, printer, wi-fi, washing machine,dishwasher, and many books and CDs.The apt has wooden floors. Wonderful view of Wester Church, and Canal in front, and gardens and trees from bedroom. It is is 80 sq metres. There is a bathroom with a tub, and a separate toilet. The apt has a queen size bed, and is very comfortable. The apartment is in a building on a busy street with a supermarket, several restaurants, and cafes. There are three tram lines on the street as well as several bus lines. Easy trip to Central Station or just about anywhere in Amsterdam. We live in NYC most of the time, but come to Amsterdam twice a year, and spend three or four months a year in this apartment that we bought a few years ago. We love being there. METROPOLITAN AREA: yes The Jordaan is a lovely, kind of hip area with many boutique type shops as well as convenient, neighborhoos stores. The building is on the Westermarkt which is between the Keizersgracht and Prinsengracht Canals. PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Paris, London- open to other destinations, not to far from Amsterdam. PERIOD OF AVAILABILITY: February 5- February 15th. We would like to exchange for five or six days.
