Originally built in the 1820's, the home is a plantation plain farm house on the National Registery of Historic Places by the US Department of the Interior. The interior of the home is hand-planed heart pine giving it a cabin like feel. The owner's casual and eclectic style adds a modern day feel to the historical nature of the home.

We are a family of five with three school age children. We want to travel with our kids as much as possible to show them other parts of our country and as many parts of the world as we can. We're expereinced travelers who love adventure and we want to introduce our children to the love of traveling and exploring other cultures and countries and communities.

Sharpsburg, Georgia is 25 miles from Atlanta, Georgia - the 8th largest city in the US with museums, sporting events, shopping and unique attractions including CNN, the World of Coke, Georgia Aquarium and the Martin Luther King Jr. Center. Newnan and Peachtree City are close towns with unique shopping, arts/culture, movies and entertainment.
