Beautiful 19th Century stone building close by metro, 5 minutes from Sacre-Coeur, all conveniences. Large living room with 3 south-east facing french door-windows opening onto a long terrasse overlooking tree lined boulevard, with fireplace, piano, diner table, sittees, home-cinema. Master bedroom with large bed, home-cinema. Childrens bedroom on quiet courtyard, with two small beds (1m60 long!). Toyroom/sparebedroom with comfortable double couch /bed. Small kitchen with washing machine, dryer, dishwasher. Bathroom with bath, wc, lavabo. Wifi, TV (connected to projector), telephone. We have bikes in the groundfloor storeroom and two desktop macs connected to the internet. The house is full of books and toys. A cleaning lady comes twice a week. There is double glazing on the boulevard side. There is a lift. Nice neighbours. We are a couple of artists/architects with twin daughters aged 8. We are both Irish, living in Paris since 1990 and we speak fluent French. METROPOLITAN AREA: 18th near Montmartre The boulevard is close to Montmartre (5 minutes walk up steps). There is a supermarket and metro right below; nice cafés, markets, parks, restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Venise or the Lido; we are hoping to spend a month there this summer (July or August) with our two children. Hoping to bring them to New York sometime too. PERIOD OF AVAILABILITY: School holidays; preferably summer months (july, august).
