DESCRIPTION: This condominium was built in 2004 as a model unit. The main floor has a large kitchen, living area, master bedroom and bathroom with a walk-in closet. This property was furnished with all new furniture and a fully stocked kitchen when we purchased it in 2005. It sits in a lovely neighborhood, which offers a pool,park, playground, with on site security. Our condominium is a comfortable,vacation home with an upstairs loft and 2 full bedrooms and a full bath. The association pool sits across the way and there is a patio in the backyard,with a large dining table and chairs. We have maintained this property in an almost perfect condition and it has been used as a vacation property since its purchase. Within a mile is lots of shopping, dining and movies, including SanTan Village Mall. It's a thirty minute drive to Apache Junction and the national forest or downtown Phoenix. A two car garage is attached and bicycles are there to enjoy. There are many miles of bike trails in the area and lots of sidewalks. It has a very open, fresh relaxing feel to the property and just walking outside to gaze at the surrounding mountains is great!
METROPOLITAN AREA: Phoenix metropolitan area Gilbert is a southeast suburb of Phoenix. I enjoy its location because it is far enough away from the traffic and congestion yet close enough for short drives into Phoenix, Scottsdale, Chandler and the surrounding area. When we've stayed there we've used the condo as a jumping off spot for day or overnight trips to the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Tucson. PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Europe, Mexico, big cities anywhere. PERIOD OF AVAILABILITY: Year round, beginning in June, 2009.
