Our home consists of 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, plus another room which could take a single bed. There is an ensuite bathroom, a second bathroom, a guest toilet, a study (with computer/internet cable connection)
Very modern well equipped kitchen adjoins family room (dishwasher, 2 fridge/frezzers, microwave etc)
We would leave a car if this is reciprocated.
There is a mains gas BBQ and 2 outdoor eating areas, depending on the weather and other dining requirements.
The laundry has a washer, clothes dryer and another deep freze unit.
Two TV's, a DVD and video player.
This is a very safe are with a bus at the front door which goes to the local train station and for a short walk you can catch a bus into the city.(20 minutes ride to Sydney CBD) We can leave 2 bicycles.
All linen and towels are included and all you need is your toothbrush. We will look after your house and we expect you to look after ours. We have a cleaner who can come in while you are here and at the end of your stay to clean for the next people who are due to arrive.

We are 2 sixty year olds who would like to taste the culture of Italy for 6 to 12 months in 2010. I am an artist and Terry my partner is semi retired with a vineyard in Griffith NSW with an Italian Share farmer looking after his grapes. (Griffith has a popluation of 60% Italian who settled there to farm mainly irrigated horticulture).

METROPOLITAN AREA:

Sydney is a very sophisticated city with every available entertainment from Mardi Gras to the Opera House. We are about 2 hours driving time from the beautiful Blue Mountains, 3 hours from our capital of Canberra, 2 hours to the Southern Highlands, 6 hours to the snow fields of Mount Kosciosko, and short plane flight (1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours) to northern tropical Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef. While someone was visiting "downunder" I would recommend they take a short flight across the Tasman Sea and visit New Zealand with its magnificent scenery.
