DESCRIPTION: We have a Beautiful high end 5 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home 10 minutes from historic Annapolis Maryland. our house has all the things you need for a great vacation with or without kids. We can sleep 10 comfortably and have lots of living space, including a formal dining room with a table for 14, an eat in Kitchen, family room with flat screen TV and full cable service and a gas fireplace, a seperate play room with lots of toys and its own TV/DVD, a formal sitting room, screened in porch and large kitchen. We also have a master suite with spa tub and flat screen TV. as well as a huge yard over half an acre with the back fenced in with play equipment and trampoline. We also have a garage and a driveway with space for lots of other cars. Our home is beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture. One of the bedrooms has a crib/cot and changing table for an infant. We also have strollers and baby gear if needed. Our house is located in a small community on the Chesapeake Bay. Our house is across the road from the water and a short walk to our community beach and marina which is great for fishing, swimming, playing with kids on the sand or boating. We also have a children's playground within a few minutes walk. We have bikes, scooters and other fun activities for all ages. We are an international family, we own and run our own international education company and love to travel around the world. We are an American Dad from Annapolis and an Australian/English Mum from Sydney, Australia. We met in Sweden and have traveled and lived abroad in many places. We have three kids, ages 8, 4 and 2. METROPOLITAN AREA: Washington DC and Baltimore MD Annapolis is a small historic town which is the capital of Maryland and was breifly the capital of the United States a few hundred years ago. It is now home to the US Naval Academy and is regarded as the sailing capital of the US. Annapolis has a beautiful main street, many historic homes, gardens and museums to visit. It is a quick drive from our house to downtown where there is easy partking, lots to see, great restaurants and cafes. We are also 30 minutes from Baltimore, 45 mins from Washginton Dc, 20 mins from BWI International airport and the high speed train to Philidelphia (1.5 hrs, NYC (3 hrs) and Boston. It is also an easy drive to civil war sites and the beautiful towns of St Michaels and Oxford Maryland. we also have a 18 hole golf course about 2 miles away, and a great waterfront restaurant about 1 mile away. PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Open to offers and suggestions, but would like Sydney Australia (eastern or inner west prefered) for Dec-Jan 09-10. Then Italy, France, Sweden, Uk, Switzerland, Greece in Summer 2009. US states any summer for good vacation spots with lakes, pools, beaches. PERIOD OF AVAILABILITY: June-August 2009, Dec-Jan 2009-10, Summer 2010
