METROPOLITAN AREA:

NC is a golf mecca with Appalachian Mts only 1 1/2 hrs away, Pinehurst 45min. There are tons of things to do in both areas, hiking, antique collecting, cultural arts, etc and we are very central on the east coast so driving or flying to Washington, Atlanta, NY or Fla is fairly simple and cheap.
