Some destinations: Vancouver is about 3.5 hours away, Banff (in the Rocky Mountains) is about 5 hours, 2 hours from the Okanagan Valley where wineries and fruit orchards will interest you. Our Okanagan Valley has been called Canada's Tuscany. We have a world class ski resort about 45 minutes from here, called Sun Peaks. It is a sought after destination both winter and summer. We also have many first class golf courses in and around the city. The "Rocky Mountain Rail Tours" make their headquarters here. The North and South Thompson rivers converge in the middle of the city along with 4 major highway systems, including the Trans Canada Highway.

I would be traveling with my sister, who like myself is retired. There are neighbors and family members who are ready and willing to meet you and help you with anything you may need .. from fly fishing to shopping to sightseeing.

METROPOLITAN AREA: Kamloops, B.C.

There is much to offer here .... from white water rafting to house boating on Shuswap Lake to wine tasting at the vineyards. A car is needed, we could talk about that. I offer you a taste of Western Canada, a feeling for British Columbia and a sure love of this wonderful part of the world.

PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Our first choice is Tuscany in Italy, beyond that we are open to just about anywhere. I will send pictures on contact.
