My husband and I are newly retired to France our homecountry after spending over 40 years in the United States

METROPOLITAN AREA: Biarritz.

We are just outside of Biarritz, the famous picturesque resort made famous by Napoleon the third and Eugenie. The rugged coast offers many opportunities for breath-taking views, gorgeous walks and sandy beaches, a paradise for sunning loafing or practising (acrobatic) surf on world famous impressive waves.The Basque culture has a lot to offer in terms of great food, a long and strong heritage interestingly depicted in the Bayonne Basque Museum. San Sebastian in Spain is just a few miles away.Known for its tapas, it is different and extremely rich in culture.Bilbao and the Guggenheim museum eighty miles away attracts world-wide interest.Finally the great Bordeaux region is two hours away for you to discover its world-reknown wines .

PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Florida or any other Southern United States or Costa Rica.

PERIOD OF AVAILABILITY: We wish to exchange (or rent )our home for yours during 2 months ( January, february and/or march) We will also consider letting you have our house during the Summer months (July and august)for exchange or rent
