Apartment for up to 6 people in Castelrotto/Kastelruth, famous winter ski and summer resort in the Dolomites (UNESCO protected area) in the Italian Alps, close to the border of Austria. The apartment is 1000 squarefeet and has a sunny balcony (500 square feet) with beautiful view to the moiuntains. The apartment is situated downtown, 1 minutes walk from shopping area, restaurants, cafes, post office, bank, church, bus station.

The apartments has two bedrooms with twinbeds, large kitchen, bathroom with washing maschine, living room with traditional tyrolean furniture and furnishings, couch with sleep for two. Central heating, Cable TV, VCR. Car parking in front of the house. Private garage.

Castelrotto is an old tyrolean traditional village at 3450 feet (1060 meters) in the mountains and is located in the Dolomiti Superski Area with a total of 450 lift facilities on one lift ticket. The largest ski domain in the world with one ticket. In the ski area fo Castelrotto - Val Gardena - Alpe di Siusi you can find 175 Km of ski and snowboard slopes and 65 Km of cross country ski runs, 14 Km of enlightenend slopes, ski schools, ski rental, ice rinks, indoor tennis, public indoor swimming pools, public sauna - spa, massage, cinema, bowling and of course apres - ski.

You can enjoy the beautiful nature and wherever you look you can see the imposing peaks of the surrounding Dolomites. In the summer possibilities to walk and climb the worldwide famous peaks, more than 100 Km of mountain bike traks, lakes. Near by Natural Park of Salten - Schlern. Indoor and outdoor tennis, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, 1 new golf course and 4 golf courses within 1 hour drive, horse riding, PAR 70 golf course with 18 holes within 5 minutes drive from the property. Museums and galleries in Bolzano (30 minutes by car), Innsbruck, Verona (Arena), Venice, Milano. Train station in Chiusa/Klausen (15 minutes drive) or Bolzano/Bozen (30 minutes drive). Pick up service. You can write in English, Italian, German, French and Spanish.

Family with 2 children. Claudia owns a coffe shop and a gift shop with local handcraft ond THUN ceramics and SWAROWSKI. I am involved in the organisation of big winter sport events.

METROPOLITAN AREA: Bolzano (30 minutes), Verona (2 hours), Venice (3 hours), Milan (3 hours), Innsbruck-Austria (1 hour), Munich-Germany (3 hours) Zürich (3 hours).

PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: USA, Spain, Thailand, Vietnam,anywhere hot with beaches nearby, open to all destinations. Need not to be simultanious swap.

HOME EXCHANGE AVAILABILITY: Available year round but is subject to availability. Best period Jan. to March for winter sports and May to October for climbing, hiking and mountain biking and golf.
