Open views to the North and East through large living room windows with expansive patios for outdoor dining and entertainment. A hot tub is available for that late evening soak and star gazing. Indoors, the home offers the perfect setting for a mountain retreat. The Lodge feeling is conveyed through large timbers, hemlock paneling and attractive split-log staircase which takes you to a cozy loft area for TV and game playing. The main level features a private cedar sauna, washer/dryer with open dining/kitchen and living room floor plan. The master suite offers a King Bed and cast-iron gas stove with walk-out access to its own private patio. Upstairs offers three bedrooms separated by the loft area overlooking the Great Room. All Guest Suites have full baths and the multi-levels add to the charm of the home. Two bedrooms offer Queen Beds with one bedroom having its own private loft -- fun area for kids -- accessible by ladder only. The oversized back suite features two Twin Beds and plenty of room for extra kids to spread out. It also has its own private bath and entry/exit down to the main level and exterior. Named after its founder, Tom McCall, it is situated on the southern shore of Payette Lake and near the center of the Payette National Forest. McCall is one hundred miles north of Boise, accessed via the Payette River Scenic Byway (State Highway 55). The population was 2,084 at the 2000 census.
