DESCRIPTION: This 2200 sq.ft. beach house has 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms and sleeps 6 comfortably. There is also a queen size hide-a-sofa in the living room to sleep 2 more. It is a family oriented home with colors in soft pastels and is decorated in a contemporary fashion. The kitchen is fully equipped with linens provided - you don't need to bring anything except your clothes and food! The famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is 10 blocks away, charming Capitola Village is 15 minutes away and Carmel/Monterey is 30 minutes away. Within close distance are numerous world renowned surfing spots. This is a two story home with ocean views from the kitchen and living room on the top floor. The master bedroom with queen size bed and bath are on the top floor. The lower floor has two bedrooms - one with a queen size bed plus bath and the other has bunk beds and a double size futon. Internet and a flat screen HDTV with video game inputs are provided. The home has lovely landscaping with an outdoor shower and deck and outdoor furniture. There are lots of games, beach toys and beach chairs. We are a retired couple living in Santa Clara Valley. The beach house is our vacation home which we enjoy sharing with others. METROPOLITAN AREA: Santa Cruz County Santa Cruz has plenty to offer in the way of entertainment, good dining, wineries and lots of shopping nearby. There are beautiful parks with hiking nearby. The famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is 10 blocks away. A day trip to San Francisco and the best Monterey Bay Aquarium is easy driving distance. PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Paris, London, Italy, Spain HOME EXCHANGE AVAILABILITY: 2011 June and possibly 2 weeks the first part July for exchange. Anytime for vacation rental.
