DESCRIPTION: Three bedroom 1.5 bath. 1400SF first floor flat, totally refurbished in 2012. Beautifully landscaped Coutyard with fountain, communal barbaque grill and patio furniture. Garage parking for our car 2015 Acura MDX SUV (will allow use of with proof of insurance). Bus stop on corner cable car stop 3 blocks. Our flat is in Francisco Palms (two separate 8 unit buildings that face each other forming the courtyard) Our unit is 1st floor end unit in back (i.e not on street - very quite) with view into courtyard and landscaped backyards of adjoining buildings. We have bikes that can be used to ride around town and out to the Golden Gate bridge (approx 3 miles). My wife Anne Reinert and I are empty nesters. Our youngest daughter Hannah is a UC Berkeley grad and lives in SF also. Our other 3 kids Live back east leading productive lives. Anne is a Oncology Nurse Practitioner retired from UCSF Cancer Center but working on contract a few days a month, I (Scott Darling)manage globally Corporate Facilities and Real Estate for Jones Lang LaSalle FM outsourcing practice with plans to retire in July 2019. We are extensive travelers, love the outdoors, do not need fancy digs but want a place where we can explore allot. We love art and museums. METROPOLITAN AREA: San Francisco You have it all. SF city, one block to SF Bay and view of Golden gate and Alcatraz, Few miles to Ocean, Hiking in Marin Headlands, 1 hr to Napa Valley, 2 hr drive to Monterey and Carmel, 3 hr to Lake Tahoe and 4 hr to Yosemite Valley. PREFERRED DESTINATIONS: Any major world city (Rome , Athens Paris, Barcelona, NYC, London ...), world class ski areas, mountain villages with great hiking. We also own a second home in Lake Tahoe (which we can possibly coordinate use of during an exchange) orbut our SF home is also available for rental or use yourself while you use our SF home (bank a future exchange time) while we are using it.
HOME EXCHANGE AVAILABILITY: We must exchange for a minimum of a month at a time per our HOA covenants Any month starting 1 April 2019 and onward. RENTAL AVAILABILITY: April 2019 - and onward RENTAL RATE: $7000/month (includes utilities, internet, cable and cleaning service every two weeks). Note prefer to do exchanges but willing to do longer term monthly rentals
