Listen and see the surf pounding on the shore. The master bedroom, pictured, has a king size bed. The beds in the second bedroom may be configured as a queen or 2 king size singles. And there is a pull out sofa double bed in the lounge.
The unit is maintained in immaculate condition and totally self contained for 6 people.

To explore the green hilled surrounding countryside of national parks golf courses and surf beaches, a car is needed. Easy day trips to beautiful Byron Bay to the south, the Gold Coast with Surfers Paradise to the north, and National Parks with hikes are all easily accessible.
The local characters are relaxed and friendly- that's why they live in this part of the world.

We are a couple of empty nesters, with an adult son who has recently flown the coup.
Denise has completed her teaching career, and now her work is whatever she feels like doing on any given day. She loves people, laughing, reading, music, theatre, movies, gardening, sewing, volunteering, wining and dining.
Lach owns a successful small business in the Australian wine and beer industries, saving the world a bottle at a time. Has business contacts in all of the major wine regions of Australia. He enjoys participating in outdoor pursuits- surfing, yachting, snow skiing and enjoys watching rugby league and union.
Enjoying travelling and meeting people, we have backpacked in our youth and flashpacked in recent times. We often hire yachts with a group of friends and family, and have sailed most of the Seven Seas. We have entertained and hosted mates from many countries of the world.
We love the city of Brisbane where we have lived for 12 years, after leaving a small country town of Bowen, 1000km to the north. We're happy to answer any questions to fill in the gaps.
The beach apartment is one and a quarter hours drive from our home apartment in CBD Brisbane. We are experienced with hosting international guests, though new to Home Exchange.

METROPOLITAN AREA: Brisbane, 1hr or Gold Coast, 20 min are closest airports. 30 minute drive to Byron Bay.
