We are a recently married couple from the United States and Canada, who have acquired this lovely apartment to offer as a rental and to use for swaps.

Our goal is to see as much of the world as possible and to do it as the the locals do.

METROPOLITAN AREA: Paris

The 11th Arrondissment on the border of the 3rd, the amazing and fashionable "marais", is one of the central neighborhoods of the City of Light.

Don't be misguided by the number of this arrondissment, because of the snail shell pattern to this city, the 11th is actually closer to the 1st (Notre Dame and Louvre) than many of the lower numbered arrondissments.

Several metro stops are moments from your door (Oberkampf, Parmentier, Republique) and grant you access to all that Paris has to offer.

For those of you in love with dead celebrities, one of the world's most famous cemetaries is a ten minute's walk away. The Cemetery of Pere Lechaise is world renowned for its macabre beauty, and its famous inhabitants. Some of them: James Morrisson, Edith Piaf, Oscar Wild, & Chopin. The 3rd Arr is only a short walk away and is home to the LE MARAIS neighborhood, one of the most fashionable of Paris.
