Ours is a tranquil and pretty Edwardian terraced cottage in a quiet, safe and friendly neighborhood 5 minutes walk from Southfields Tube (district line) near Wimbledon town, Wimbledon Village, the tennis stadium and Earlsfield train station. There arelocal shops including library, market and green grocers, pharmacies, cafes, alternative therapies, restaurants, pubs, banks, delis, health clubs, clothing stores, hardware, alternative med clinics, news agents, local park, local weekly farmer's market. Wimbledon Common with its excellent country walks and the possibility for horseback riding is five minutes by car or bus, swimming in nearby Putney. We are also twenty-thirty minutes away from the bustle of inner London (depending upon your destination). There is a budget car rental-by-the-hour agency 5 minutes walk from the house.
