DESCRIPTION: The apartment can be reached by 2 elevators (in the old times the one in the back was designed for the maids!). An entrance, a living/dining room, 3 bedrooms and a study are sharing its 150 square meters (1650 square feet), together with a study, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and separate toilets. In the entrance you find a 18th century cupboard; the living room has 2 sofas, chairs, a TV and HiFi; on the other side of this room is a magnificent book shelves in front of which is the dining table. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, fridge/freezer, dish washer, microwave; there is a table on which 4 people can have their meals. Of the 2 bathrooms one has a shower and a washbasin, the other has a bath tub and 2 washbasins. Two bedrooms have double beds (one standard, one queen size), and the third bedroom has two single beds. Connection to ADSL is possible in almost every room.
METROPOLITAN AREA: Cannes center.
Our building goes back to 1928; it was one of the first main constructions in Cannes. It is perfectly located: on a small hill and at a walking distance (5 to 10 minutes walk) you reach the Croisette and the “Palais des Festivals” where is hold the famous Cannes Film Festival each month of May, the old harbour, and the Forville market (beautiful fresh food every day and antiques on Mondays). Surrounded by small villas from the beginning of the past century and their gardens, it is very quiet. At the 4th floor (5th the American way) our apartment has a magnificent view: the bay of Cannes, the harbour, the old Cannes on its hill called the Suquet, and in the distance the “iles de Lerins” where some monks are still living, making a wine that you will be happy to enjoy. From other parts of the flat you can admire the mounts Esterel with splendid sunsets. RENTAL AVAILABILITY: Anytime.
