DESCRIPTION: We live in Yeadon on the edge of Leeds in a large detached family house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms,utility room,kitchen, 2 living rooms, conservatory, office and garage and large garden with two patios and gas barbequeue and off street parking. The house is made from local stone built to our own design on a sloping site in what was the grounds of a Victorian Hall in a private location.We are near to the amenties of Yeadon which is a distinct community including restaurants, pubs, shops, leisure centre and the Yeadon Tarn(lake) with water based activities. Yeadon is well served by public transport and about a mile away from Leeds/Bradford airport for national and international flights. The booming City Centre of Leeds is about 9 miles away with many parks,shops,restaurants,theatres,galleries and museums including the nationally rated West Yorkshire Play House, the Royal Armouries and the Henry Moore Gallery. Leeds is a lively and cosmopolitan city located at the centre of the UK with easy access to the motorway network to connect it conveniently to other parts of England and Scotland by car or by train. There is easy access to attractions such as the Eureka Childrens Museum, the world heritage site of Saltaire,historic York ( Minster,the National Railway Museum, Jorvik Viking Museum) the National Film and Photography Musuem at Bradford, Howarth/ Bronte Country. Harewood House as well as Yorkshire Coast or the national parks of the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District, the Peak District or the North Yorks Moors for walking, cycling and out door pursuits or just the outstanding scenery or exploring beautiful and quaint villages.
