The house is located within a friendly 1960's estate, meaning we know a lot of our neighbours. Near to the house are the community chickens (no worries, there is no rooster!)
There is a suburban train line near the house which you will hear, but it is fairly quiet and does not disturb us.

We are a couple of architects with a two-year-old son. We lived in the house for nearly 5 years. I am German and my wife is English.

METROPOLITAN AREA: Herne Hill/ North Dulwich

Herne Hill is located between the trendy Brixton neighbourhood with its Caribbean street markets and the upmarket leafy Dulwich Village, home to the famous Dulwich College and the Dulwich Picture Gallery. We have two beautiful parks within walking distance (with great playgrounds and cafes). Herne Hill has a Sunday market as well as a large variety of shops and restaurants.
