Santa Cruz is located 1 hour south of San Francisco, 1 hour north of Monterey and Carmel, 2 hours south of Napa Valley, 4 hours from skiing in Lake Tahoe and 2 hours north of beautiful Big Sur coast line.
It is perfectly situated for day trips to all of the above locations. From the condo it is a 10 minute walk to the beach. Surf schools are available, Santa Cruz has perfect waves for beginners and experts and we are only 45 minutes south of famed big wave surf spot Mavericks. Wetsuits (depending on size), surfboards, and beach cruiser bikes are included with your stay. Santa Cruz is an amazing little beach community, only 50k population but plenty to do. The laid back atmosphere, great food, music venues and shopping are sure to please all types of travelers. The famous Beach Boardwalk amusement park is less than 3 miles away. The plentiful state parks, hiking, mountain biking, golf courses and tennis courts nearby will keep you busy outdoors. |
