Founded in 1995, IHEN.COM - The International Home Exchange Network was
the first web site devoted to the listing of home exchanges and private rentals.
In our tenancy on the web, the IHEN has enjoyed unparalleled success and become a popular
destination for "surfers" worldwide. Averaging 350,000 file requests per
month from over seventy countries, The International Home Exchange Network
has received extensive critical acclaim for its design and ease of use,
including being selected by New Riders in its "World Wide Web Top 1000"
and rated by Pointcom among the Top 5% of all Web Siteson the
Internet.
When we established IHEN, our goal was to couple the proven concept
of home exchanging with state of the art computer technology. Starting
with the first electronic bulletin board devoted to home exchanges, Florida based
IHEN, FL debuted in 1993 to provide callers with immediate
access to current, extensive, and readable profiles of available homes.
With the advent of the Web in 1995, we moved our operations to the Internet to
further serve our user's needs.
